Dirty Rotten Beetle!

Those dirty little Beetles..... DO YOU SEE THEM? Dont be mating on my plants.. and ESP dont be puttin holes in them! How dare they? These little pests are really getting on my nerves! They're putting holes in all of my plants not to mention being total pervs! I welcome any advice for getting rid of them!

Now that I've vented about my Beetle problem.. how about a garden update! So... my lemon tree has only produced 1 lemon.. but man.. look how big it is! (And no.. its not a lime. . it just hasnt turned yellow yet!)

OOH Onions! Those little bush-looking things are pickle bushes.. I have seen zero pickles... and something got a hold of my squash too.... since Im mad at them... I'll blame the beetle!

You can barely see, but here are my banana peppers!

We went swimming at my friend Casey's today... this is Grant's poolhair!

Happy Birthday Tol!

AWWWW.... this was love at first sight! It seems like yesterday that my nephew, little Tol, was just born, it doesnt seem right that he just had his 3rd bday party! Here are a few pictures of him from birth to age 3!

This is probably one of my all time faves of him just cause it shows off his funny little hair-do!

Grant had a great time but was exhausted from the festivities!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Wow.. we had a fun filled weekend full of family!
Saturday was "Papa G's" bday and we had the family over for the day and I made a big Mexican Fiesta!

We put all the kiddo's in Grants baby pool.. they had a great time!!!

Grant loves his new patio! I cant wait to do a final post of that.. we're still landscaping!

Franklin's Aunt Camille is in town from Wyoming and she came with Grandma and Ron to see Grant! Franklin's brother Sam and his girlfriend Rachel also came over!! We grilled out and had a wonderful time! Grandma got in some good "Grant time" which was a great break for me!

And thats all ..... it was fun times.. but I'm partied out!

Is that my baby?

I have a question, Where did my little tiny baby go? People told me over and over "Don't blink, they grow up fast", and to be honest it got on my nerves but now I really see what they mean!
Grant has changed and gone through lots of new phases lately and although its so exciting it sure does hurt Mom's feelings!
I heard Grant playing in his room when he woke up from his nap and I just so happened to have my phone with me... I open the door to find this.....


Yes... my baby was standing up in his bed.. STANDING :( I remember when this bed swallowed him up! Although it was so sweet to open the door and hear "MAMA" and get this beautiful grin.. oh it hurt my feelings so bad! Such a bittersweet moment!


And here is his latest.. crawling.. well.. kind of... he can take a few "crawls" at a time! I'm gonna put a sign on him that says "Will crawl for food".... I have to say... he loves to eat, just like his Mama!
