Beachin' it 2012

I would love to be able to give a "play by play" of our trip but like most posts I do, the photos NEVER upload right, even when I spend TONS of time carefully selecting the order, humph! So here are some pictures and I'll give you tidbits along the way!
Can you SEE the trouble in these two??
Finally swimming in the ocean after much anxiety!
 Totally over taking family pictures
At Shipwreck Island, NOT a fan of the slides!
We rented a pontoon one day and took it to Shell Island where Tol rented this cool board!
My little tan, blonde headed beauty!

On Shell Island, each boy caught their own hermit crab, it was AWESOME!  Grant also got one for Cole.  The names of our crabs:  Sheldon (tol's), Hermie (Yates), Salty(Grant's) and Sharky (Cole's).  THe boys loved them and we even bought them homes, but unfortunately their sweet little lives were shocked and we had to set them free! Lucily, there were no tears!

This was from the day we left to go to the beach, we drove halfway there and got a hotel room!  While Franklin took Grant to the pool, I thought I would get Cole in bed.. .YAH RIGHT.  He did this until 10:30pm, did I mention that his normal bedtime is 7?
The view from our room at the hotel!

 Monkey see, Monkey do!
 My world!!!!
The boys favorite place, Sharky's!  Well if you ask Grant its "Shawky's"
Poor Aunt Kelly after taking them to Sharkys!
Seriously, look how tan he is!

Check out the double rainbow!

 Grant and his "Pino-Cowada"
45 minutes after leaving the beach house to head home!

Oh yay, here we are.. our first night at the beach!  We went to Salty Sue's!

If I heard it once, I heard it ten million times on the trip "I don't want to swim with Uncle Tol".  He forces him to do stuff, which in the end 9 times out of 10 Grant loves it.
Here's why Grant is scared!  His kids are "Full force", the rougher the better!

This pictures makes me DIE LAUGHING!

 My birthday!
I love this, we MAYBE get a picture of just the two of us once a year, so I cherish this!
Little Tol was the BEST helper/babysitter on the trip, he was always willing to help with Cole!

My sweet baby giving me bday kisses!
 A tad embarrassed!
Cole was a TROUPER, he ran with the big boys all week, barely missing a beat!

Papa was much braver then me, he asked if he could take him under and I sd sure.. hold your breath...
 and .... under they go...
reaction.....   NOTHING!  Not a whimper nor a smile... he was just like "What happened"?
This, however, made me a nervous wreck!  NOT that I don't trust my brother.. but still!
This place is a new found treasure, Uncle Ernie's! LOVE THIS PLACE, by far the best crab cakes I have EVER had!

After Uncle Ernie's we took the kids to ride go-carts..  Somehow Kelly talked me in to riding instead of her, and Grant and I got the slowest car there was, which was fine by me.. but people were lapping us and he'd say "We're smokin' em' Mama", I would just giggle and say "YEP, we sure are buddy"!

I couldn't believe it but they had a tiny track for little kids and Grant was BESIDE himself excited.  I would give a million dollars to have had my video camera, it was the FUNNIEST thing I've ever seen. Grant had this face the entire time!  But the funniest is when this little girl would come next to him, he'd get a mean face and try to run her off! HILARIOUS! Dad says he's got a great shot of it and I will repost it because its hysterical!

After that Little Tol was BEGGING to do the sling shot bungee.  We all thought he'd be scared but he wasn't, he LOVED it.
More pontooning!  Highly recommend this, so much fun!

Check out Grant's grip on Tol!

 Morning walk to the beach!

Ok I know these pictures are unflattering but I thought they were funny! The ocean was so shallow this year but I found this one deep hole and thought it would be fun to cannonball in to it!

 My second favorite place, Margaritaville!

 Doing our best "Shark"
These two were INSEPARABLE the entire trip, sweet but sometimes annoying.. but in this instance, PRECIOUS!

 LOVE THEM!

It was a great trip but 8 days with four wild little boys, I was ready to come home and rest from our trip! Thanks to Papa and DeeDee for inviting us!  :)
