Kindergarten and Preschool!

I've been super excited to write this post.  I had a request not to post anything until today so that is why I waited!  I'm pretty sure that for the past six years I've absolutely dreaded Grant starting kindergarten. I mean, he's been with me every single day, even when he was at school I was there.  I cried a lot the night before but kept my cool when we dropped him off, UNTIL I got in the car, I may or may not have been 30 mins early AND the 1st in car line to pick him up.  Its so bittersweet because my baby is now in the care of someone else FIVE DAYS A WEEK.  But the best part about it is he is READY and he LOVES IT!  No tears, PURE excitement!  I couldn't be more proud of him!  He is going to a brand new school (they are building a bridge and we hope to be able to walk soon!), his teacher is Miss Shepherd (that pic is still on my phone) and she seems kind and he really likes her.

Its pitiful because Cole misses his brother so much, he cried at drop off the first few days.

Then came Cole!  This little turkey was super pumped to be in the 3/4 year old Bumblebee class! His teachers, Miss Kim and Miss Amanda are AMAZING!  He walked in like it was nothing.

Grant wanted to take our picture.. he's getting good at this!

So far school is going well for all of us. Carline is not for the faint of heart, it stinks.  The afternoons are super tiresome as we are all still adjusting to this crazy schedule, but over all life is good!

A short visit

A few weeks ago we went for a day visit to see Granny and Grandpa in Pulaski.  We are going back this week so I figured I better hurry up and post about this trip.  I have been so bad about blogging lately, its time consuming but I am gonna try to get better about it.

Cole is such a picky eater, he won't any fruit but apples and watermelon.  Granny was determined to get him to try cantaloupe and you can see he kept telling her NO and throwing his head back saying UGH I DONT WANT IT!

 She finally convinced him…..
And it was a success, he loved it, he ate a ton of it.  UNTIL we got home and he wouldn't touch it, little weird-o!

The kids found shoe strings and were pretending to be Ninjas if you're wondering what on earth is on Cole's head!

Grant got my camera and wanted to take pictures.. he did a great job!

This picture cracks me up, Ninja Grandpa!
One of my most memorable things about Granny and Grandpa's is when we leave… my Granny ALWAYS waves from the window and Grandpa always waves from the garage!
