Cookie Party!

Its that time again! The cookie party at Buddy's... this year I wasnt able to stay and take pics bc I was still on crutches BUT my Mom's friend came and helped!  As usual, Buddy and Grandaddy did NOT disappoint!  No words needed, the pics tell the story!

The boys loved the cookies, but I didnt taste them.  I'm there every year and I see the licking, sneezing and slobbering that goes in to these cookies!

Santa Pics

This year we did our Santa pics here in Murfreesboro with my family photographer.  I love her but for some reason I thought the Santa and Ms Clause were .... well... a little creepy?  Bless him, he couldn't hear a thing and kept looking at Grant like he was confused and then the Mrs.  well she kept closing one eye?  I don't know, perhaps it was me, I was three days out of surgery so this experience is a tad vague.

Anyways.. Grant was his usually sweet yet shy self, he'd duck his head and smile and mumble what he wanted!

I really thought Cole would be scared because he is NOT a fan of characters (Chuck E Cheese and the Easter bunny TERRIFY HIM).  Anyways, he talked their heads off.  He told them he wanted a Woody and Bullseye and that Uncle Tol pushed me in the pool and that he wears underwear!  You name it, he told it!

Anyways... there's our session and it was fun for them and that's all that matters!

Christmas Day!

I have a post for Christmas Eve with Grandma and Frank but Aunt Rachel has all those pictures so until then.. I will keep posting! :)
When we got home on Christmas Eve from Frank's we put the boys straight to bed and behold... Santa came!  We left out cookies and milk and then Daddy and I got busy setting things up.
 Cole's stash
 Grant's

This might have been the most magical Christmas for me.  There's nothing sweeter than seeing the excitement through your children's eyes.  Grant came down the steps and with the biggest grin on his face yelled "Santa figured it out" and ran right to his stuff! Cole screamed "Woody and Bullseye.. YAY"... and off they went!

Once Cole figured out he had a Chocolate Santa, that was it for him... he tore that dude up!
Grant had a hard time trying to explain to santa what an Octopod was from the show "Octonauts".  Bless him, he was a very old Santa, I dont think he knew what anything was! Oh well.. more on that later.

Every Christmas I make a HUGE breakfast and the past two years my Mom and Toby have stopped by on their way to Pulaski to see my Grandparents! Its so much fun and the kids hold them hostage showing them everything they got.

 Cant have Christmas without tattoos!

Christmas night we go to my Dad's and we had tons of yummy appetizers and lots of playing.
I dont know why but I think this is funny, doesnt every kid climb in Daddy's lap with a pc of ham? Later Franklin looked down and Cole had put it on his leg! hahaha

The kids got Seat Pets, now maybe their heads wont dangle in the car when they sleep, thanks for the idea, Em!
This hat is hilarious and totally fits Cole's personality.. when you squeeze the purple ball on the end, the monsters hands stand straight up!

And what Christmas would be complete without a marshmallow war?  THANK YOU PAPA! ahem!  I wasnt a fan of these, maybe its because I got NAILED in the eye with a marshmallow by my husband and then by my brother in the head.  These are for the kids, NOT adults!

It was a lovely Christmas and lots of awesome memories made.
