10 Months

Happy 10 Months to Cole Miller! I know I say it every time, but SERIOUSLY he can't be this old? This little dude is W-I-L-D! I've mentioned before that he's in to everything and that is no joke! Most of my family and friends say they can't get over at how fast he can crawl and get whatever he has his eye on! Notice the picture below, every cabinet is open and he gets EVERYTHING out!
He has also started "cruising" around his toys and he will stand up freely in the middle of the room (I couldn't get a picture of that unfortunately).
He LOVES animals! At my Mom's house he sees her dog, Lula, and immediately starts giggling and goes after her! Here he is at my Dad's!
I don't know why, but I think babies sitting on their knees is the cutest thing ever!

Here are some highlights from this month:
-We have two front teeth (well almost)
-He is free standing
-Weighing in at 19 lbs
-Says: Mama, Dada, Bubba, ball, and ugh oh
-Loves blueberries, grapes, goldfish, pretzels, and oddly enough.... hummus!
- Giving "hi 5"
- Clapping

Happy 10 months Cole!!!!!

Not the reaction I was hoping for!

I have learned, since having kids, that nothing goes the way you anticipate! Cole loves the bath and I figured he would love a good bubble bath, but like his brother, he HATED his 1st bubble bath! He was absolutely TERRIFIED. He went crazy trying to get out of the bath!
As a matter of fact, the next night he heard the tub running and immediately started screaming! Clearly they didn't get this from their Mama, because you can find me in a bubble bath at least 5 nights a week! Oh well.. maybe next time!

And We're Off!

On Sunday, this happened!
And needless to say he's only getting faster and nosier!

Splish Splash

This is a nightly ritual at our house, although a tad messy it makes me laugh! I love my boys and so glad they have each other. I pray every day that they remain close!

9 mths and Nosey!

Can you help but smile at this face? Cole Miller is now 9 months old, this is hard for me to swallow... he's 3 months from being 1.. thats crazy! He has really changed the past month, he's gained 3 lbs, crawls... well scoot/slides backwards, tries to pull up on things and stand alone, and have I mentioned he's SUPER NOSEY. WOW....he cranes his neck at everything, if he's within reach he grabs it, if there's a crumb he finds etc.
He is really in to eating too. He doesn't really want his baby food, he wants what Momma has! Despite his 2 teeth he thinks he can eat anything!

He can say: Mama, Dada, Bubba (Grant), and ball

Even though he's not fully crawling he finds a way to get to what he wants, he gets on his stomach and slides or he just turns around as far as he can and reaches, he is one limber little dude! I swear in another life he'd be an Owl because he tries so hard to turn his neck completely around, again I say, he's NOSEY!
These next few pictures kill me! I noticed he had been doing this a lot....
But I thought he was just trying to get something off of the coffee table. But later that morning we were in Grants room playing trains and I got up to get something, turned around and found this..
I freaked out! I am 99% sure that Grant didn't pull up until he was completely crawling. Everyone keeps teasing me saying he'll walk before he crawls but I sure hope that is not the case!

Something else he does... what I like to call the "tee-pee" stance! Seriuosly he tries to stand up. He'll move his hands and try to raise his body up. Sheesh.. Im gonna have my hands full.
And.. he is totally crazy about this dude..
He LOVES Grant and the feeling is mutual! Grant smothers him (a little to much sometimes!) with love and every time Cole sees him coming he squeals and kicks his little legs!
Our afternoons usually consist of this.. playing cars in the hall!

And for my last picture... he's straight up BUSTED. Little stinker opened the box of wipes and pulled out half of them. I have a feeling once he's seriously mobile.. he's gonna keep me BUSY!
I love my little Nosey Rosey! (PS. I have NO idea why this turned blue.. weird)

Santa came!

The boys must have been good this year because Santa left a pile of goodies! And of course we have proof that he was here...
He tried all of our cookies!
We started the morning off in our matching Christmas pjs... but...
after a leaky diaper and Grant spotting the new batman pjs our attire quickly changed!

We had a great Christmas morning! Each year it gets better and better! So thankful for my beautiful family and for what Christmas is all about!

Christmas Eve

Every year on Christmas Eve we go to Cookeville to spend the day/evening with Franklin's family. We start off by going to his Moms house and she always has a spread of delicious appetizers!
While we were there the boys got good time in with Grandma and Aunt Rachel and Uncle Sam!
Sam and Ron are both in bands and love to play music. I'm not usually one that is really "in" to music, but seeing Grant dive right in with Uncle Sam was very funny! He loved playing the drums and bobbing his head, so funny! His version of Rudolf was a tad different from what I've heard! hahaha!
After eating, opening a few gifts, and visiting we headed over to Grandpa Frank's house! He was so excited to see the boys and Grant squealed with excitement when we got there because Frank had tons of lights and inflatables put up!

We had a nice visit at both places! The boys crashed on the way home, good thing too because Santa still had to come ;) More on that later!

Christmas at Buddy's

Last Saturday we went to Buddy and Grandaddy's for Christmas and it was so much fun! The kids were beyond excited because after the party the 3 older ones were gonna have a "Boy Party" and eat pizza and spend the night!

We had a delicious lunch and then we just sat around visiting and opening gifts, it was a great time!

After lunch Little Tol had an accident and spilled his apple juice on his clothes and so he decided to put on his pi's. Well, of course Grant had to put on his pi's too, which was fine. But after a while we noticed the boys calling each other names and wearing hats and they told us their names were "Zippy and Twinkle" and they were elves and we couldn't talk to them or touch them or they'd lose their magical powers! (Ring a bell?? Elf on the Shelf!). Yates decided he'd rather sit with Grandaddy and eat!
Zippy
Twinkle
Zippy and Twinkle in action! They were also on a mission to find Uncle Tol, he was hiding!
BUSTED!

Buddy and Grandaddy got Grant and Cole a play kitchen, they LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this picture because Cole is not the type of baby that just goes to sleep in your arms, he prefers to be put down. I looked over and found this... so precious!
Thanks Buddy and Grandaddy for a wonderful Christmas party!
