Valley Home Farms - Strawberry Pickin'

A few weeks ago we headed out to Valley Home Farms in Wartrace to pick strawberries! We came here last year and loved it and the strawberries are to die for!! They also have a bee farm and in two years will have a blueberry farm! My favorite part are the desserts.. they have homemade strawberry icecream, cake, popsicles, and strawberry bread! YUMMY! The house/farm is beautiful too!
Grant had a great time picking the strawberries... he'd say "Pick it.... MMMMMMM... good" He did great putting them in the basket.. except for the fact that he'd pick unripe berries! Oh well!

We ate several while picking... you should've seen the face he made when he ate a bad one!

He wouldn't let Franklin or I carry the strawberries.. which was fine until the basket got heavy and he started dropping it.. DISASTER .. and a meltdown!
After picking the strawberries we enjoyed a nice scoop of homemade strawberry icecream!
He even shared it!
They had some baby cows/goats that were super friendly.. Grant loved them!

(Naturally the picture of him with the goat has disappeared .. why do I have so much trouble blogging??).. anyways..
We had a great time and will definately go back next year! I couldnt help but take a picture of Grants dirty feet.... at least this shows he had a great time and he's ALL BOY! DIRTY and STINKY!
