Farewell

I am so sad to say that one of my best friends, Emily, and her family will be moving to Alabama. Not only is she my super close friend but her son, Nate, is Grant's best friend. So this is double sad to me! I could not be happier for their family and this new adventure that they are taking on, I just wished we could still be a part of it but I am so happy to have met them! I met Emily before I was even pregnant with Grant. We never hung out or anything, but when she found out I had just recently had a baby and lived basically across the street, she reached out to me. She asked me to come to strollersize with her and Lord knows I needed out of the house. I sincerely believe she got me out of a funk that I couldn't pull myself out of. She forced me to get out of my house and make friends... and that I did, I made a life long one! Grant was about 3 months old and Nate roughly 15 months. I don't know why but I don't have any pictures of them early on. Here are some pictures of the last three years throughout our friendship. Its so funny to watch these boys grow! And sorry Abby, sweet girl.. I dont know where all of your pictures are but you are equally loved!

Em was sweet enough to come to our house at 4am to stay with Grant the morning I had Cole. She also got to witness one of the sweetest moments in my life, Grant meeting his brother for the first time!

BFF's!

This was our last playdate! The boys really didn't have a clue but to us girls, it was sad and emotional!

Thanks Emily for being such a wonderful, loyal friend. You have brought many laughs and smiles to my life and I know there are many more to come! Murfreesboro won't be the same without you, and neither will our Girls Nights! Best wishes in AL, we love you!

P.S. I will NEVER forget the day Cole was born & seeing Grant meet him for the first time. One of the most touching moments I've ever witnessed!

P.P.S I'm crying now, thanks a lot.
