A Cookie Party!

Last year we started a new tradition of making/decorating Christmas cookies with the boys! Surprisingly they all did well and only a small mess was made! Buddy turned on Christmas kiddie music and they danced and had a large time!

Grant by far had made the most improvement from last year, he was so in to it this time!

Yates loved the heart shaped cookie cutter, we say its because he's a Valentine's baby, Grant like the Christmas tree, and Tol liked the stocking and gingerbread man! At least there was no fussing!
Yates didnt like rolling out the dough, look at his face and hand! hahah
The hardest part was keeping Yates and Grant from eating the sprinkles, they didnt want them on the cookies but in their mouth!

Kelly was there for a little bit of it, ... then she left! I dont know why she wouldnt want to stay the entire time, esp once the sugar high from the sprinkles kicked in! CHICKEN!

All the boys and Buddy had a great time! I cant wait to see what its like next yr with 4!
Here is the finished product..... SHEW.. after wet sprinkles from slobber were put on the cookies I was less than excited about eating them! :) Baked in a 350 degree oven or not!

Here is Grant AFTER decorating!

and Buddy, with each of her boys!

And the day would not be complete without a visit from Grandaddy, he came home for Chili and some "YUMMY" cookies! Check out Grandaddy's face! hahahaha
Wouldnt you want one?
The boys were so proud of them, and thats all that counts! :) Good times/good memories!
